Pin-up Girl & Model Tania Fonseca
Introducing Tania Fonseca...

I am an American Pin-up Model of Mexican and Portuguese descent. Born on October 1st, 1993 in Escondido, California. I started modeling at the age of fourteen for Quinceanera Magazine, and once I turned seventeen I started going back to the look I loved as a child, which was the vintage pin-up look. My biological father loved Rock & Roll and that's the music that we would listen to everyday when he would come home from work. My mother is an antique lover whom introuduced me to "Grease" the musical at the age of seven and once I saw the "Pink Ladies" and "Sandy" strutting their stuff I knew I wanted to be just like them.
I made my mother cut my bangs like Bettie Page's and dress me like I was living in the 1950's. Once I started middle school and high school I became a follower and forgot about the lifestyle I loved so much. I dressed like everybody else since I was trying to be accepted by my peers. I would wear red lipstick everyday while in High School and I was made fun of all the time. Senior year I became pregnant and lost many friendships; but thanks to that I found myself again and started dressing as I did when I was a little girl.
I'm now 18, married, and a mom. Im a pinup to my core and I believe that I was placed in the wrong era. Everything I do and achieve, is thanks to God and my family. They are my support system and the ones I can count on. Being a Pinup Model means more to me than being published in magazines, and taking lots of pictures. I want to be a role model to all women who have ever felt like they are not good enough.
A Pinup is about impowerment and the confidence a woman can have if she accepts herself for who she is. Pinups come in all shapes, tones, and sizes and that is the beauty of it all. I want women to know that times can get rough but if you are determined to reach a certain goal then you will overcome all obstacles and reach your goal!
I am very into the classic pin-up look and try to dress like I am living in that era on a daily basis. What I am trying to do now is find my son clothing that suits the era as well. hehe. My husband on the other hand does not want to dress that way but we will see about that! haha.
Now I am about ready to try to make it as a professional pin-up model internationally!
Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! ![]()
